Ms. Mitchell brings over 22 years of program management experience.  Ms. Mitchell has successfully overseen major construction programs for Administrative Services in K-12 education construction for the past 22 years. Specific experience has been in full life-cycles from oversight of design through construction close-out and post-construction during the warranty period. She excels in multitasking projects. Her experience includes program management, new construction, additions and renovations.

EXPERIENCE

• East Point Library Project: $2.1 million renovation of an existing 11,378 s.f. library in a design/build approach.  Scope includes new electrical lighting, power, communication, data, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, interior storefront walls, wall and floor finishes.
• Fairburn Library Project: $1.5 million renovation of an existing 9,625 s.f. library in a design/build approach.  Scope includes new electrical lighting, power, communication, data, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, interior storefront walls, wall and floor finishes.
• Atlanta Public Schools Projects ($942 million SPLOST) as an Owner’s Representative and Project Administrator, overseeing projects from inception to completion. Effectively finished overseeing $85 million in construction projects including one elementary school, one middle school and two single gender schools (middle & high) completed on time and in budget. Responsible for monitoring the Architect’s contract preparation, Architect’s plans and specifications from project start to Clients approvals and Final approval by State Department of Education of all documents.

Responsible for overseeing all pre-construction reviews of plans and specifications, monitoring all City of Atlanta final drawing reviews prepared by the Architect to obtain City Building Permits.  Responsible for reporting to the client all construction managers contract that exceed the establish budget, oversee all sub contract bidding package, receiving of subcontractor bids for the clients, maintaining of all construction project schedules, track all submittals, negotiation and preparation of all change orders for client’s approvals. ​
